Statutory COVID regulations in Austria (as of June 1st, 2022)

  • From June 1st of 2022 onwards legal COVID safety regulations in Austria are nearly gone.
  • The 3-G rule does not apply to gastronomy and accommodation buildings anymore. So at the moment, you do not have to proof to be in state "recovered, vaccinated or tested negatively (validity PCR test=48h / antigen test=24h)" to enter the building.
  • In general it is not mandatory to wear an FFP2 mask in indoors, but recommended.
  • Until August 23rd of 2022 it is not mandatory to wear FFP2 masks in areas of public life, even where people can't prevent going to (e.g. pharmacies, grocery stores, drugstores, banks, etc.).
  • It is still mandatory to wear FFP2 masks in with vulnerable people (e.g. hospitals, nursing homes etc.).

Special for "guest accommodating facilities"

  • So, wearing FFP2 masks is not generally compulsory within the building.
  • Operators do not have to collect contact details for Corona-purposes.
  • Operators may appoint a COVID-19 officer and draw up a COVID-19 prevention concept.

Haus GRETE's COVID prevention concept

  • Indoors in general areas, people do not have to wear a FFP2-Mask.
  • Please use the hand sanitizer provided at the information desk when entering the property.
  • We have updated our cleaning and disinfecting procedures to provide you with a safe environment during these times.
  • The appointed COVID-19 officer for Haus GRETE is Martin Krammer, telephone 0043 6769 211335corona@k2-buildings.at
  • If you have Corona-symptoms, please stay at the accommodation and always wear a mask when meeting other people. Please inform the appointed COVID-19 officer about your state and further proceeding. General information for your health

We would also like to remind you about some WHO recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID-19:

🖐️ 🚿 Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water

🕴️ 📏 🕴️ Maintain at least 1 meter (3 feet) distance between yourself and others & avoid going to crowded places

🤭 ❌ Avoid touching your face (eyes, nose and mouth)

🤧💦 Cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze

If you present any symptoms (fever, cough, breathing difficulty) contact the local health autority to seek medical attention.

Parking

The parking lot for guests can be found in the entrance area on the right in front of the house (two grass parking spaces). It is possible to stop and turn around in front of the house and in the marked lawn area behind the house. Please keep the access area to the garage doors clear at all times for driving by.

Waste

In the kitchen (below the sink and in the cupboard) there are bins for separating waste (residual waste, organic waste, plastic, paper). If the containers become full during your stay, you can dispose the bags at the garbage dump on the left before the property-access to the road (but only residual waste and organic waste). If you also need to empty plastic and paper waste, just let us know.

Dedicated smoking area

Smoking is prohibited throughout the house!

Outside there is a "smoking area" where cigarette butts can also be disposed of.

Bed linen, towels

Bed linen, towels and tea towels are included in the price and are provided for the duration of your stay in the house. Should more linen be required, please contact us. Towels and tea towels that are no longer required can be thrown into the pink laundry basket in the bathroom – but only as soon as they are dry, please.

Cleaning

Cleaning-Service: If you would like us to do the cleaning during your stay, this is bookable for an extra charge via your digital guest folder, which link you received before arrival and on your welcome paper. An additional cleaning will be carried out as soon as possible within 3 days of booking.

Self-Cleaning: For your own use during your stay you will find cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaner, broom, cleaning supplies, etc.) in the broom closet in the kitchen.

Slippers: Please do not enter the the sleeping and living rooms in the apartment with street shoes, as the renovated parquet floors in particular would suffer in the long run. So that your feet do not have to freeze, slippers are available to borrow in the cloakroom.

Kitchen

Basic groceries: In the kitchen you can find salt and pepper, spices, sugar, vinegar, oils, coffee, tea, cocoa for free. The kitchen is well equipped to make cooking for yourself as practical as possible.

Kitchen appliances: The kitchen is equipped with a stove/oven, a toaster, a kettle and a filter coffee machine. We ask you to always switch off the devices when leaving the accommodation.

Dishes: Please clean the dishes used as best as possible. The dishwasher (tabs can be found under the sink) can be used for this. It is best to select the automatic program (the switch-on button is located above the door on the far left - please press for at least 3 seconds).

Garden usage - Please watch your children

The garden in front of and behind the house may be used. Please watch out for your children, as it is not fenced and as there is a stream (70 meters) behind the house and the local road passes (15 meters) in front of the house.

In the warm months of the year (ca. Apr-Oct), there is garden furniture and a small barbecue grill behind the house to use and linger on the shared terrace.
